Still under construction...

Majority of this page is laid out... but more needs to be put. I'll eventually get to it, slowly!

Memorable Games

Sayonara

Wild Hearts

A playable album. Style is substance for this game and oh... does it have substance

Killer 7

An haunting, horror experience; there wasn't really a moment through it, despite how funny it was, where I felt at ease. My first Suda51 game.

Mana Khemia

What if... FFX had an actually good battle system? There, you get Mana Khemia, one of the best turn based JRPGs ever made in terms of gameplay. Sure, the game might look... somewhat bad at times, but the moment you enter combat and get into the groove of combat as 6? That's peak JRPG for me. What helps is that the setting is pretty nice, with likeable goofs as characters.

Ar Tonelico 2

I do admit, it's a one of those cringy JRPGs where you just play it for the ''romance'''. That said... it's actually really good??? The world of Ar Tonelico is geniuenly one of the best and unique out there, populated by strange vistas of big techno-fantasy towns up in these instrument-based floating island. The music is also extremely good, too good to be true. Ar Tonelico 2 has the best characters (probably the most unique characters in romance JRPG history) and the best story.

Final Fantasy XI

The only MMO I've played to fully embrace the fact that it's an MMO. Sure, it didn't age that well, you walk as fast as an ant, you feel like an ant everywhere you go, but for how unfriendly it is, for how timewasting it is, it's the only MMO that makes other people around you feel essential. It's not high octane gameplay, but it sure is fun to just grind for hours while exchanging words in chat... not to mention the progress and the strategies of this game are also pretty in depth and enjoyable.

Cassette Beast

I don't like pokemon. I'll even go as far to say that don't like creature collector games. Cassette Beast is thus just a surprise to me: I didn't even want to play it, but it was gifted to me by a friend and I just had to... give it a try then. The vibes of this game just captured me instantly, and how can you not go fall in love with this game when the moment you come back to town this haunting melody starts playing?

Final Fantasy XIV

I've never played a game with lows as low as FFXIV. I've never played a game with highs as high as FFXIV. I'm no longer playing it religiously as I did once, yet I can't deny how much this game consumed my life (in a positive way). I have my gripes on the story, it's really not that good, outside of a few parts, but the community of this game is just... awesome. I have great memories of Week 1 PF savage clears, meeting the same people, getting into discord with strangers, it just feels like an adventure every time a savage drops. Unfortunately, I don't like the direction the game took after shadowbringers; I can only hope the game gets better eventually, but as it stands, yeah... taking a break.

Favourite Games

Super Mario Galaxy

Space is lonely. Space is melanchonic. Space is also wonderful, bizzare and strange. Don't get me started on the music...

Outer Wilds

Super Mario Galaxy, 12 years later. I'm not really into space anymore, I was as a child, but this game was able to reignite that part of me. If you played this game, you know.

Yume 2kki

Nope, not the original, but the fan-made sequel-collaboration. Why? Well, what other game out there gives you the ability to go back to the start, time after time, take a different route and find yourself somewhere new never seen before? Yume 2kki is massive, it has a lot of things to do, and with the addition of multiplayer through the YNO project, it's hard to put into words the feeling of just sitting somewhere nice with other people after venturing for what felt hours.

Mother 3

The first video game to make me cry. It made me fall into the JRPG genre and... is there anything more to say? One of the best games ever released, beautiful pixel art, catchy music, great turn based combat.

Void Stranger

Finally, a puzzle game that realized that it can be so much more just with the right story. It's an amazing game, and just like the game above, it had me share a tear or two. If you have the patience, you NEED to play it and see it through, I believe in you.

And I hold on, I hold on, I hold on, 'cause that's the only thing I can control.

We Love Katamari

Pure, unadulterated fun. There's nothing deep about katarmi really, it's just a bop, from start to end, a set of colors and shapes that you set your mind too: it's not too overwhelming, but it's not too plain. The music is just that cherry on top that sets these games as unlike everything else. Never change, Katamari.

Lumines

My first Tetsuya Mizuguchi game; If you've never played it, I can't really put into words what this game feels like to play. When you play it you just get into the zone

Love-De-Lic

and successors

Doesn't feel right to just put one game here. From Moon Remix RPG to Chulip, Captain Rainbow and Chulip, I love every single game that has been done by these guys (that I've played, in English, so far, at least). Maybe they're not really the best game in term of gameplay out there, but they are certainly unique and full of charm. My personal favourite are Chibi-Robo, Chulip and Little King's Story, but it's hard to choose just one.

Elona

Many claims claim to give the player endless possibilites and a true open world. Elona is, in my opinion, the game with the most nonsensical and broken system imaginable; and for that, it's really fun. There's really no other roguelike that rewards creativity as much as Elona, and there's no roguelike out there which is as charming and as big as Elona. I'm exicted to see what Elin holds in the future.

Pikmin 2

You might be noticing a trend here, but just like Mario Galaxy and Outer Wilds, Pikmin 2 just hits that strange spot of alien, spacey solituted and strangeness. Of course, it's certainly the less space-y game on here, but that shouldn't distract anyone from the fact that on your first time through, everything would just look so strange and unusual. It's my favourite entry in the pikmin franchise.

Monster Hunter

Franchise

Best actiong RPG series out there. Extremely unique take and evolution of Player, Enviorment and Enemy interaction. There is not one game that I can call my favourite, I like them all, all for different reasons. My favorutie monster is Najarala.

I play a lot of videogames

Here is a list of games I've played. I've been playing videogames since I was a child, since I was... 10? It's kinda ironic in a way; when I was really little, I was really against videogames and against anything slightly violent. When I was 7, my mom had bought me a Nintendo DS and Mario Kart DS and I didn't hated it. It was my father who was able to introduce me into videogames. He used to play some, form time to time, and he'd show me some of the games he had gotten through Twilight CDs. I'd still never actually play these games, I'd just watch my dad play them but it was enough. Eventually, little by little, I'd play one game after the other and fell in love with the medium.

I mostly play singleplayer games, lots of indies. My cozy genres are management games (especially colony sims or city builders), JRPGs and Tower Defense games. I've also started playing a lot of online co-ops games, especially with my friends, though I don't think I'd enjoy playing them alone.
